were credible candidates, but concluded that the Democrat had more
to offer voters.
The Star-Ledger of Newark and The Philadelphia
Inquirer also have endorsed Lautenberg. The Asbury Park Press endorsed
Forrester, calling the Republican a protector of Social Security.
