Dave Mackie,

Most recently Dave Mackie was the
Senior Vice President of Marketing at SMART Technologies, Inc. Prior to working at
SMART, he spent 13 years as a consultant in sales, marketing and management. Before
becoming a consultant, Dave was with Tandem Computers as both an original founder
and VP of Sales and Marketing taking the company from $0 to $600M. Prior to founding
Tandem, he worked for Hewlett-Packard and spent 12 years in the Royal Air Force.

Gerald Youngblood,

Prior to seedstage.com, Gerald Youngblood
founded five companies and raised over $90 million. From 1997 through 1998 he helped
to found Journée Software Corporation (Business Process Management Systems)
and The Software Atelier (software incubator) as well as assisted in closing the
first venture funding round for ClearCommerce, Inc. (E-commerce transaction processing).
Gerald currently serves on the Board of Directors of Journée Software and
on the Mentoring Team at Dryken Technologies (products TBA).
From 1991 through 1996 Gerald was
Chairman and CEO of SunRiver Corporation, a 500 employee public company. At SunRiver
he directed the company from revenues of just under $3 million in 1993 to approximately
$140 million in 1996. He led key acquisitions by SunRiver of Applied Digital Data
Systems (ADDS) from AT&T GIS (NCR), EINet (now TradeWave Corporation) from the
Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC), and the VT and Dorio
Series business unit from Digital Equipment Corporation.
Prior to founding SunRiver, he spent a decade with Diversified Technology, Inc.,
a manufacturer of industrial microcomputer products, where he held key management
positions, including six years as head of the Contract Products Division. He previously
served as President of Circuit Process, Inc., a printed wiring board manufacturer,
which he founded. Gerald began his career in 1973 as Chief Engineering Manager for
WJDX, INC., Mississippi's largest radio broadcasting company. Mr. Youngblood received
a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University. |

John Hime,

John Hime has been investing in early
stage technology companies since 1995. His current focus is on Internet software,
networking and services. He is invested in 15 start-ups and serves on three Boards
of Directors. During a 25-year career, working for computer systems and software
manufacturers, he developed expertise in software development, marketing, business
strategy and people management.
Hime was the Vice President of Marketing at Tivoli Systems in Austin, Texas, during
its start-up phase, and introduced the company's first products. He spent 10 years
in Silicon Valley start-up companies, where he was the first Vice President &
General Manager of MIPS Computer's Systems Business Unit, the first Vice President
of Marketing at Frame Technology, the first Director of Marketing at Sun Microsystems,
and the first Director of Product Marketing at Pyramid Technology. He spent 9 years
at Data General Corporation in a variety of technical support and marketing jobs,
including field positions, a 2-year assignment in Europe, and as Marketing Manager
at company headquarters in Westboro, Massachusetts. He began his professional career
as a systems programmer at MRI Systems and Texas Instruments in Austin, Texas.
Hime holds a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas, Austin (1970),
and completed graduate coursework in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
He is fluent in French, German and Spanish. |

Mike
Maples,

Mike Maples is retired from Microsoft
Corporation as executive vice president of the Worldwide Products Group and member
of the Office of the President, reporting directly to Bill Gates. Mike was responsible
for all product development and product marketing activities. He continues with the
company as a consultant, advisor and ambassador on certain strategic relationships
and internal management initiatives.
Mike has over 35 years experience in the computer industry. Before coming to Microsoft
Mike worked for IBM for 23.5 years where he was director of software strategy for
IBM Corporation. He also held positions of IBM Account Manager for Bank of America,
Product Manager for 3270 Terminals, and Director of Development.
A graduate of Oklahoma University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
and Oklahoma City University with a master of business administration, Maples has
been involved with many organizations tied to technology. He sat on the Board of
Directors of the Information Technology Association of America, and was president
of the American Software Association. He was also a member of the board of the University
of Washington's Technology Center and the Board of Advisors for Engineering Coalition
of Schools for Excellence in Education and Leadership. He is currently a member of
the Board of Visitors for the Engineering School at the University of Oklahoma and
the College of Engineering Foundation Advisory Council at the University of Texas
at Austin.
Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of Computer Moms International, J. D.
Edwards and Company, Lexmark Corporation, Motive Software, and PSW Technologies.
He is also on the board of advisors for 12 high tech firms and venture funds.
Mike currently is a rancher raising exotic deer and antelope. Mike and his wife,
Carolyn, split their time between their ranch in Cypress Mill, Texas and their home
in Austin, Texas. They have two grown sons. |

Jimmy Treybig,

Jimmy Treybig is the former President
and Chief Executive Officer of Tandem Computers Incorporated. He was the company's
principal founder and served as its CEO from 1974 until January 1996. Under Jimmy
Treybig's leadership, Tandem delivered its first product in 1976, first issued public
stock in 1977, and in 1980 was ranked by Inc. magazine as the fastest growing public
company in America. Tandem recorded its first $1 billion revenue year in 1987. That
same year, Tandem was named one of the of the 50 best managed companies by Business
Week magazine. When he retired in 1996, Tandem was a $2.3 billion company employing
approximately 8,000 people worldwide. Tandem has been chosen as one of the 100 best
companies to work for numerous times.

Prior to founding Tandem, Jimmy worked for the Silicon Valley venture capital firm
Kleiner & Perkins, currently Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers. Between
1967 and 1973, he held various marketing management posts in Hewlett-Packard's then
new computer division. Jimmy began his career as a salesman for Texas Instruments.
Jimmy Treybig has received Entrepreneur of the Year awards from both Stanford Graduate
School of Business and Harvard Business School. Industry Week magazine has recognized
him with it's Excellence in Management award.
