Concieved in 1995 by then-Texas First Lady Laura Bush, the Texas Book Festival is a statewide program that promotes reading and literacy highlighted by a two-day festival featuring authors from Texas and across the country. 

The Texas Book Festival website was designed to be maintained by the client and can be easily updated from year to year to reflect the Featured Artist of that year.
